Toolbar buttons

• + New Project — opens the template picker: Sample Project (a full-featured demo roadmap) or Blank Template (start from scratch).
• Save — saves the current roadmap under a name you type. Requires sign-in — saved to your cloud workspace.
• Load — opens the list of your saved projects; click Load to open or Del to remove one.
• Export PNG — downloads the roadmap as a PNG image.
• Export PPTX — downloads the roadmap as a PowerPoint (.pptx) slide.
• Export Data — dropdown: JSON (full project data), Excel (.xlsx) or CSV (phases table).
• Import CSV/XLS — imports a CSV/XLS spreadsheet or a JSON export (incl. comments); choose Replace all or Merge.
• History — version history: saves and autosaves create snapshots you can Restore or Clear.
• + Add Row — adds a new deliverable / module row at the bottom.
• Month back / forward — the two arrow buttons shift the whole timeline one month earlier / later (bars and milestones keep their dates).
• + Month / – Month — adds / removes one month at the end of the timeline.
• Today line (checkbox) — show / hide the red "today" marker.
• Constraints (checkbox) — show / hide the constraint bands.
• Timeline / Grid — switch between the Gantt chart and a sortable, filterable table of the phases.
• Help — opens this guide.
• Sign in — enter your email and we'll send you a magic link to unlock editing; once signed in it shows your email and a Sign out button.

On the chart

• Click an empty timeline (or right-click a row) → add a phase bar, milestone or constraint
• Drag a bar to move it; drag its edges to resize; double-click to edit; right-click for options
• Drag a milestone (horizontally and vertically); double-click to edit
• Click the RAG dot to cycle status; right-click → Set RAG Status
• Click a badge / owner / status cell to edit it
• Click the comment cell → read & add comments
• Right-click the timeline header → add constraint / toggle non-working week
• Drag the row reorder handle to reorder rows; drag the bottom edge to resize row height
• Right-click a row → edit label/owner, add badge, hide / duplicate / delete
• Drag a constraint to move; drag its edges to resize; double-click to edit
• Drag the handle at the left edge of the timeline header to shift all phases together (snaps to weeks)

Grid view

• Switch with the Grid button in the toolbar — every phase and milestone becomes a table row.
• Click a column header to sort (Deliverable, Phase, Start, End, Weeks, Owner, RAG).
• Search box — filter by deliverable, phase or owner.
• Type and status dropdowns — filter by Phase / Milestone and by RAG status.
• Columns: Deliverable, Phase, Type, Start, End, Weeks, Owner, RAG, Colour and Comments (latest per deliverable).

Formatting & legend

• Double-click title / subtitle / footer / column headers → format (font, color, align)
• Legend: click the swatch to change colour, edit the label, Add, remove

Access

• Not signed in — view-only demo (exports still work)
• Signed in (Sign in → magic link) — full editor + autosave to the cloud
